It’s been a while since I wrote here – almost two years in fact which is completely crazy! But it’s not because I haven’t been writing – I have – everywhere but here.
I write for the SMH & The Age, I write for Gloss, I’ve written a book launched this year called Fabulous but Broke and I write ad hoc for a bunch of other magazines, papers and online publications. Which is all great fun and I love every moment but I rarely write for me.
So I’ve decided to get back to it.
So if you’re looking to build your business, find out how to start a business, work out how to increase your wealth, understand the numbers or even say the word budgeting without vomitting in your mouth then you’ve come to the right place. Of course, you know I’m going to write the occasional article about shoes, fashion and frivolous nonsense because it wouldn’t be my blog without that right?
This will be the story of what real entrepreneurialism looks like – warts and all. But also how to write your own financial and business story because lord knows I’m still writing that one myself. Which may surprise you somewhat because I’m the expert right? I’ve written books, I write for papers, I have a fortnightly column for god sake but I hereby confess that I’m just stumbling my way through, like everyone else. Sometimes I get it wonderfully right and at times, I fail miserably.
But what I do know is I have the pen firmly in my hand and I am designing a life that I love. One where I don’t blindly believe that dragons and evil stepmothers don’t exist but where I believe they can be defeated.
I hope you’ll join me.
