GET A PROPOSAL →WHICH BUDGET DOES THIS FIT?
Fin$tincts sits comfortably across
multiple existing budget lines.
Depending on how your organisation structures its people investment,
Fin$tincts can be funded through one — or several — of the following.
01
Employee wellbeing
Financial stress is a psychosocial hazard under Australian WHS frameworks, and employees lose nearly seven work hours per week to money-related distractions. Fin$tincts directly addresses a documented wellbeing risk with a proactive, preventative solution.
02
Learning & development
Finstincts delivers structured learning across a growing content library. Australian organisations with proactive L&D programs typically invest $500–$2,000 per employee per year. Finstincts corporate pricing starts well below that floor.
03
EAP enhancement or replacement
EAPs typically see only 5% workforce usage, accessed reactively. Finstincts is the opposite — proactive, high-engagement, used regularly because it's genuinely useful. Sits alongside your existing EAP to fill the financial wellbeing gap.
04
Diversity, equity & inclusion
The gender superannuation gap remains at 35% at retirement. Providing equal access to expert financial education is one of the most tangible, measurable actions an organisation can take on gender equity.
05
Employee value proposition & retention
AHRI data consistently identifies learning and development opportunity as one of the three most effective retention measures available to Australian employers. Benefits that deliver visible, everyday value outperform those that sit unused.
06
Psychosocial risk management
Under the updated WHS legislation, financial stress is increasingly recognised as a psychosocial hazard employers have a duty to address. Finstincts provides documented, proactive support that meets that duty.
Not sure which budget line fits best? Complete the enquiry form and we'll help you build the internal business case — including a headcount-appropriate proposal and language that maps to how your organisation talks about wellbeing spend.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Mel.
I'm an ex-accountant and ex-financial adviser who owned a successful accounting and financial planning business for almost 20 years. I'm an authorised representative licensed to give general financial advice, and I've written five books about money and business — including the global bestseller Unf*ck Your Finances and, in Feb 2026, Dare to be Wealthy.
I have the theory. But I also have the lived experience: I grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney, went into five figures of debt in my early thirties, and built back from less-than-nothing to become a financially independent multi-millionaire in my forties from the strategies I put in place for myself.
Today, I'm a financial educator who believes understanding how to build wealth shouldn't be abdicated or reserved for the select few who can afford it — it's something everyone can achieve.

Bendigo Health

Financial literacy and education is something we all deserve but not everyone is lucky enough to have had access to. Mel brought her expertise to our audience brilliantly — across a variety of ages, backgrounds and financial positions — with humour, clarity and ease. We will absolutely be working with Mel again.

It's actually incredible that Mel, Clare and the team pulled this off. A premium women's financial event, 700-plus in person for a full day, on a workday. So pleased to be part of it.
